Join us on February 15th, 2024, as the ECA launches the inaugural Builders Connect Expo (BCE). The BCE will gather over 500+ member leaders for a full engagement, learning, and celebration day. Combining the best of two well-known events (our Builders Connect Luncheon and Hub of Construction Expo), the BCE will include:

  • A buffet breakfast and keynote presentation from Alex Carrick, Chief Economist from Construction Connect, on the current realities of the Canadian and North American construction industry.
  • A full trade show with over 70 booths, featuring members showcasing to members.
  • Our Builders Connect Luncheon, features a plated lunch, speeches from provincial and local leaders, our Volunteer Impact and Lifetime Achievement Awards, videos & more.
  • We will also present our Volunteer Impact Awards to Ryan Hutton (Gescan), Dan Eckert (Clark Builders), Alyssa, Dudek (Graham Construction) for their years of work supporting the YBG, PEG & WomenBuild.
  • Our 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient is Paul Forgues. Paul has been an outstanding member of the Edmonton construction community for nearly five decades and has made huge contributions locally, regionally, and nationally. We look forward to celebrating his service to our industry.
  • Taste of YEG – bringing together local breweries, distilleries, and restaurants, including: SYC Brewing, Omen Brewing, Polyrhythm Brewing & LoanPine Distillery.

AGENDA:

8 am -9 am: Registration / Breakfast Buffet

9 am - 10 am: Keynote Speaker

11 am – 12 pm : Tradeshow

12 pm - 2 pm : Award Program and Lunch

2 pm – 530 pm: Tradeshow / Happy Hour
