INTRODUCTION:

In project management, risk unveils itself in dual facets – the negative and the positive. Often fixated on averting the negative, project managers inadvertently bypass the positive, missing out on valuable opportunities for project success. Contrary to tradition, threats and opportunities are not opposing forces; both coexist within every uncertainty. The key lies in shifting our mindset, dedicating time to uncover opportunities. This course challenges our conventional approach to risk by spotlighting the often-overlooked positive side.

 DESCRIPTION:

Embark on a transformative one-day course that centers on cultivating a paradigm shift within organizations. The primary focus is to nurture a proactive outlook, encouraging the identification of opportunities alongside risk considerations. The course promises ample time for interactive discussions and real-world examples, ensuring participants grasp the practical applications of the paradigm shift concepts. Engaging exercises and dedicated Q&A sessions will enhance participant understanding.

 COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of the session, participants will gain:

  • Proficiency in turning risks into opportunities.

COURSE DELIVERY APPROACH

  • This One-day course is delivered on-line instructor-Led, live on zoom.
  • The sessions are interactive, participants’ contributions are expected and welcomed.
  • The day is divided into Sections, varies between an hour to two hours
  • Each session includes lecturing c/w examples, learning activities and group discussions.
  • Be prepared to share your opinion to enhance common understanding.
  • There is a 10-minute break every hour.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Course start at 8:30 AM and ends at 4:30 PM with one hour lunch break

 

COMPUTER SYSTEM NEEDED

  • Desktop/laptop is required. Dual monitors are recommended. No phones please.
  • A microphone, speaker, and webcam are required.
  • Be prepared to share your camera to enhance communication and understanding.
  • High speed internet connection is recommended.
  • Familiarity with google documents and sheets are recommended.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

This workshop caters to individuals within the construction sector, whether based in offices or on job sites, aiming to extract profit from risks by adeptly transforming them into opportunities.
