April 19, 2024 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM (MDT)

Description

This session will distinguish between everyday worries and anxiety that is no longer helpful or productive and will help participants to identify some common signs of anxiety. We will review how the body reacts to stress triggers, ways we can start to notice the body’s stress responses, and strategies for regulation. We will look at how avoidance of stressors can increase our stress response over time and will discuss ways we can approach stressful situations in manageable steps. Effective coping skills will be explored.
